My name is Elise Anderson, I am Australian artist living in Los Angeles.
I create original mixed-media works on reclaimed wood using acrylic paint, gel medium, and oil sticks.

My paintings are inspired by a love of bold colour, primitive forms, and simple storytelling. Working intuitively, I build up layers of texture and mark-making to create pieces that feel playful, expressive, and deeply handmade.

I'm drawn to imperfect surfaces and reclaimed materials.
I’m interested in creating artwork that brings warmth, character, and a sense of personality to a space.
Each piece is one of a kind and created by hand in my Los Angeles home.
